Wairakei Kindergarten

Welcome to Wairakei Kindergarten.

Our kindergarten was purpose built in 2015 reflecting the coastal feel of Papamoa Beach.

We have a natural outdoor environment that encourages risk taking. Our intention is that Wairakei Kindergarten will be a place of community where each member feels valued as a unique individual, in a culture of respect.  Children, families, team members and the wider community will feel a sense of belonging and find long lasting friendships in a warm, responsive environment.

Our philosophy supports an inquiry based, collaborative environment fostering learning dispositions. Our bicultural curriculum underpins the teaching and learning at Wairakei.
