Active learning in nature's playground! At Whakamārama Kindergarten we make the most of our vibrant country setting and large outdoor play areas - encouraging kids to be kids! Our 100% degree-educated teachers know that play is hugely important for their learning and development. That's why we provide a programme with plenty of hands-on fun. We love to go on regular adventures in our large outdoor play areas and into the Whakamārama bush - our kids love meeting new birds, insects and trees!...

 We utilise a wide range of learning resources and equipment for a confident start at primary! Our strong transition to school programme also provides a smoother start for our little ones. 

Delivering the ERO's highest rated standard of early education, we keep it affordable - offering 30 free hours* for 2 - 5 yrs. We do also accept any voluntary donations to help us continue the great work we do!
