Nicola

Kia ora my name is Nicola and I am a fully qualified ECE educator with over 16 years’ experience.  I have raised three wonderful children who are now all teenagers. It was having my own children that sparked my love and enjoyment of being part of a child’s learning journey.

My philosophy is that each child is an individual who needs to be nurtured in a safe and loving environment. They are unique and are encouraged to explore and learn about the things that interest them. Teaching is important to me and I aim to provide a respectful, loving, caring and stimulating environment.

Your child’s experiences and activities in my home are carefully planned and tailored to meet their individual learning needs. I provide daily mat times with songs, stories, games and movement. We go on plenty of community adventures together, enjoying all the natural beauty and fun Katikati has on offer, along with other community activities such as story time at the Katikati Library.
