Full-time Teacher / Kaiako Position - Welcome Bay Kindergarten

Join a beloved community kindergarten

We are looking for a new full-time teacher to join our highly respected and unique Welcome Bay Kindergarten! There is so much to love about our kindergarten, from the amazing atmosphere of aroha and fun, to the ‘one of a kind’ building built by the community 30 years ago.

In this special space tamariki, whānau, team and community are at the heart, and whakawhanaungatanga is paramount. We look forward to seeing how we can continue to enrich our kindergarten's long and rich history, and our considered and thoughtful teaching philosophy.

We are a very collaborative team looking for a Teacher who will help us realise our shared goals. Together we will continue to cultivate a place where tamariki are nurtured and cherished. The kindergarten team consists of four full time teachers, one part time teacher and an administrator. We are experienced, cohesive and committed professionals who are passionate about our kindergarten and our community.

We are a proud Enviroschools Kindergarten and offer a large, outdoor nature-based play area with plenty of space to play, explore and imagine. We run a regular Ngahere programme where excursions into our natural surrounds are a part of our kaupapa.

The terms and conditions of the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement will apply. Inspired Kindergartens offers excellent employment conditions, supportive colleagues and a wide range of professional learning.
